About Me

My name is Zach. My two loves are fitness and all things geek. If every day of my life consisted purely of gym time and nerding out in front of my PlayStation and watching Marvel movies, I'd be one happy dude. When I'm not lifting weights or sitting in front of a screen with a game controller in hand, I'm helping you guys. I have a passion for Star Wars and creating success stories, and I want to make you my next one.

My Story

When I first began my personal fitness journey, I was 18 years old. What spurred my entry into my new lifestyle comes before, however. When I was 17 I was a wreck. I was diagnosed with clinical depression, was sleeping maybe 4 hours a night, and had gained 50 pounds from the medications I was on. My issues got so bad that I went from being a decent student to a high school dropout who considered it to be a good day if I made it out of bed. Eventually I mustered up every ounce of willpower I had and went back to finish school, but my shoulders were still heavy with my internal burden. One day I looked in the mirror and realized "Holy shit, I'm chubby." Which was actually quite the realization for someone who had weighed 125 pounds most of his adolescent life. Then came the biggest realization I've ever had: I deserved better. The person in the mirror wasn't me. I was not happy with who I was and I needed to redefine who Zach was. My first step? Become happy with the guy in the mirror. I started doing some small workouts in my room and running once every other day, but really I had no clue what I was doing. I floundered around with my fitness routine and picked up information wherever I could, eventually dropping those 50 pounds in a WAY longer time than it should have taken. But, I came to my result nonetheless. After seeing the massive change I had elicited out of my body, suddenly everything was a possibility. I could gain muscle and enjoy the simple pleasure of filling out my sleeves. I could look at my reflection and not just feel okay, but attractive. My next step was a gym membership, which turned into a passion for weight training and other areas of fitness, which turned into a career enhancing the lives of others. Which brings us to your story.

My Philosophy

Fitness enhances every area of your life. That's just a fact. When people think of going to the gym, they think about the inches around their waist or the number on the scale that's just a couple pounds too high for their liking. What people typically don't realize, is that it's not just those couple pounds. Pursuing a better, fitter you will spark a chain reaction of positive changes such as increased confidence, better work performance, more energy, and of course, the person in the mirror becomes sexier. My philosophy is that no matter how awesome you are, maintaining a fitness routine will add a multiplier to that awesomeness. I believe every person has the right to feel good about themselves and I've made it my personal and professional goal to help my clients be the best versions of themselves by guiding them through the process of adopting functional activity, proper nutrition, and flexibility as everyday habits.

No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”
